About Me
Welcome to my little spot on the Interwebby.
I’ve been creating Web sites professionally since 1997 and have finally decided it was time to create a blog - I’m not completely sure what it’s going to be about yet though! I know that I want to impart some of my knowledge so that is where I’m starting at the moment with a few experiments in CSS and the solution of a Javascript/FireFox problem which was put to me at work.
To learn a little more about me check out my portfolio at www.yournewdesigner.com.
When I created my first ever site back in 1996, (which has long since disappeared), I included a section of proverbs and quotes from around the world. a year or so ago I re-created some of the content and expanded on it hugely with another personal site, www.contemplate.us.
after years of freelancing I joined the fantastic team at KidsHealth last July, switching my previous role as a designer to that of a front-end developer, where I am responsible for all things CSS with the eventual goal of total w3c standards compliance along with at least 508 accessibility.
I’m sure I’ll be back to update this page sooner or later but for now I’m off to concentrate on the design of this little spot.
